Our employees are committed to supporting causes that provide opportunity and address societal barriers in the neighborhoods where we live and work.
Employees raised more than $800,000 through our Community Connections Campaign, which supported United Way and its partner organizations across the country.
They also directed more than $3.8 million through our matching gift and volunteer rewards programs.
“The past few years have greatly impacted our communities, so it was inspiring to serve as Chair of the campaign and witness our employees come together and support the neighborhoods where we live and work. It makes me proud to be a part of Team Travelers.”
“I support the campaign every year, knowing that all the funding goes to our local communities. Equally important are the new connections that I make with colleagues. It is truly a great experience.”
We have a long-standing partnership with The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a summer camp in Ashford, Connecticut, for kids living with serious illnesses. In 2022, more than 380 employees volunteered at the camp, cleaning cabins and the surrounding grounds, as well as making gifts for campers.
“We are so grateful to our friends at Travelers, whose unwavering dedication to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp has ensured that ‘a different kind of healing’ is freely shared with more and more seriously ill children and families in great need.”

“Travelers EDGE helps you believe in yourself and changes your life if you accept the challenge. I have seen similar programs vanish through the years, but Travelers EDGE is stronger than ever 15 years later, and continues to empower diverse and dynamic leaders.”
We held a two-day symposium in Hartford, featuring informational sessions, networking opportunities and a celebratory dinner with honored guests.
“The network that I built through the Travelers EDGE program empowered me to develop my personal brand, to be more resilient, and to advocate for women who are trying to thrive in male-dominated tech and engineering fields.”
“Without Travelers EDGE, I wouldn’t have been able to pay for college. I am the only one from my family who went to school. My parents don’t speak English, and U.S. culture is different, so having a mentor through the Travelers EDGE program was important to me and for my personal and professional growth.”
“I felt like I belonged. I was part of a team and attended meetings with leaders from across the company, experiencing the corporate culture through lunches and events alongside colleagues. Travelers is a company that people idolize – when I’m in downtown Hartford for class, I look at the Travelers Tower and I think, ‘I was in there. I worked there.’”

“I grew up in a challenging environment, anchored by the love and lessons from a single mom and two much older sisters. I was blessed to have people who believed in me, and championed me, unconditionally. From the moment I engaged with Usher’s New Look, I was inspired by its mission to advocate for young people. The organization empowers our youth to open doors presumed closed, explore career options previously unforeseen, and find a personal spark unconsciously held back.”
